Strength training should work with your body, not against it.
For years, I did what so many women do — I trained hard, tried to eat well, and assumed that if something felt off, I just needed to work harder or figure it out.
Then perimenopause entered the picture.
I started paying closer attention to my cycle, my recovery, my training, and the changes happening in my body. What began as an attempt to understand my own experience turned into years of learning about how women’s physiology changes through perimenopause, menopause and beyond — and how our approach to training needs to evolve with it.
That journey ultimately changed the way I coach.
Today, I help women 35+ build strength, muscle and confidence through progressive strength training that meets them where they are. Your experience, goals, recovery, training history, and individual needs matter. The goal isn’t to make training easier because you’re getting older — it’s to make it smarter, more intentional and more effective.
Because getting stronger doesn’t have an expiration date.

At 46 I decided to bet on myself...
I’d always felt like I was meant to do something more, to serve, teach, and help women feel more capable in their own bodies. I just didn’t know exactly what that would look like.
At 46, I finally stopped waiting to have it all figured out.
This video captures one of the first times I put that idea out into the world: pitching GenM, an early concept designed to help women navigate perimenopause and menopause with better information, tools and support.
GenM ultimately wasn’t the destination. But it helped lead me here: coaching women, teaching strength, and building the work I was trying to find my way toward all along.
